This collection mostly contains correspondence as well as personal and military papers of Fr. Gallagher. Additionally, there are a few photographs of friends and family. Of particular note are materials pertaining to his service as Navy Chaplain during World War II. In addition to correspondence, there are photographic negatives of a mass he conducted on a beach in the Pacific.
